Uploading Bookmarks

You can import a file that contains bookmarks. This can be a file that someone shared with you (see Exporting Bookmarks) or another file type, such as a shapefile or KML/KMZ file.

1. On the header bar, select My Imagery > Bookmarks. The Bookmarks dialog opens.

2. Select Upload Bookmark. The Upload Bookmarks dialog opens.

3. Select Select File.

4. In the dialog that opens, locate the file you want to upload, then select Open. Supported file types are:

   • CSV
   • Zipped shapefile
   • KML/KMZ

   	Your file may contain multiple bookmarks. For an uploaded KML/KMZ shapefile to work, it must meet all of the following criteria: Point geometry type Contain a field called "name" in the attribute table Projected in EPSG:3857 (aka WGS 1984 auxiliary-sphere)

5. Select Upload.

6. If your file contains duplicate bookmarks, a dialog opens and asks how you would like to proceed. Do one of the following:

   • Keep Existing Keep your existing bookmarks. New, non-duplicate bookmarks are imported from the file.
   • Replace All bookmarks are imported from the file. Duplicates overwrite existing bookmarks.
   • Cancel Cancel the upload. No bookmarks are imported.

7. When the bookmarks are successfully imported, a confirmation dialog opens. Select Close.
