Changing the Stacking Order & Transparency of Custom Layers
You can change how your layers appear in the viewport by adjusting their stacking order and transparency. Stacking order affects layer visibility because layers that appear higher in the order show on top of layers that are lower in the order. Likewise, transparency affects layer visibility because when a layer is more transparent, it allows more of the image or basemap to show through.
- On the side panel, select the Layers icon
. The Layers pane opens.
Do one of the following:
- Change Stacking Order Drag layers in the Layers pane to rearrange them. Layers at the top of the pane are higher in the stacking order, while layers at the bottom of the pane are lower in the stacking order.
- Change Transparency Use the slider next to each layer to adjust its transparency. Your changes happen in real-time and are preserved the next time you log in.
