Editing Annotations

After you create an annotation, you can edit its size or settings.

1. In the Annotations pane, select Edit.
2. In the viewport, select the annotation you want to edit.

3. Do one of the following:

   • Change Properties Choose new settings in the Annotations pane.

     	Some annotations (e.g., magnifying glass, military symbology) have a red "..." handle. Select this handle to view the annotation's properties.

   • Move Drag the annotation to reposition it.
   • Resize Annotations with white handles (e.g., shapes, callouts) can be resized. Drag the handles to resize the annotation.
   • Rotate Annotations with white handles (e.g., shapes, callouts) can be rotated. Drag the handles to rotate the annotation.

   • Remove Annotations with a red "X" handle (e.g., magnifying glass, military symbology) can be removed in edit mode. Select this handle to remove the annotation.

     	You can remove other annotations using the Remove or Clear options. See Removing Annotations.

4. Select Edit again to stop editing the annotation. Alternatively, you can select Annotations Edit in the viewport.
