Removing Annotations

If you no longer need an annotation, you can remove it. You can also clear all of the annotations on the map.

Removing a Single Annotation

  1. In the viewport, select the annotation you want to remove.

  2. In the Annotations pane, select Remove. The annotation you selected is removed from the map.

  3. (Optional) Continue selecting annotations until you have removed all the annotations you need to remove.
  4. Select Remove again to stop removing annotations.

You can remove some annotations while editing them. See Editing Annotations.

Clearing All Annotations

  • In the Annotations pane, select Clear. All annotations are removed from the map.

    When you clear annotations, they cannot be recovered. Save any annotations that you may need later as an annotation set. Reload your saved annotation sets in the Manage dialog. See Managing Annotation Sets.
