Comparing Imagery

Compare images to see how an area has changed over time.

  1. Zoom to level 13 or higher.
  2. In the Carousel, select two or more images that you want to compare.

  3. Do one of the following, depending on your Carousel orientation:

    • If your Carousel is Horizontal In the With Selected drop-down menu, select Compare.
    • If your Carousel is Vertical Select the drop-down arrow , then select Compare.

    The Compare slider appears above the Carousel toolbar (or next to it, if your Carousel is vertical).

  4. Drag the slider back and forth to see how the area has changed over time.

You can create a movie using image comparisons. This is useful if you want to use the comparison in a presentation. See Adding Imagery to the Library.
